Do you have a project related to the themes of LUGA, such as agriculture, horticulture, urban ecology, culture…? Enrich LUGA’s ‘’off-site‘’ programme by proposing your project!

What is the LUGA satellite program?

This programme aims to bring together one-off or recurring events, as well as permanent or temporary installations, located outside the official LUGA zones: the municipal park, the Pétrusse valley, the Alzette valley, the Kirchberg (Park Dräi Eechelen and Kuebebierg), as well as the town of Ettelbruck in the Nordstad region. These events will benefit from additional visibility by being included in the LUGA exhibition agenda on luga.lu with a ‘Satellite Project’ label. This will give visitors the opportunity to discover the multitude of activities around the theme of ecology, even if they take place outside the LUGA zones.

Which conditions must be met to submit a project?

The project must :

  • Take place outside the 5 official LUGA sites, namely: the Edouard André municipal park, the Pétrusse valley, the Alzette valley and the Kirchberg (Park Dräi Eechelen and Kuebebierg) and the town of Ettelbruck in the Nordstad.
  • Take place during the LUGA exhibition: 7 May – 18 October 2025
  • Fit in with at least one of the LUGA themes: the environment, agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, food, biodiversity, urban ecology, heritage, culture, well-being, sustainable development, the circular economy, social inclusion, technological innovation and tourism.
  • Respect the LUGA eco-responsible charter
  • Fit in with the theme of the exhibition: ‘Making the invisible visible’.

Deadline for project submissions: 1 December 2024.
