About the LUGA

Welcome to the LUGA Exhibition from 7 May to 18 October 2025 in Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck in Nordstad.

LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden is an open-air exhibition that will be taking place from 7 May to 18 October 2025. The LUGA temporary exhibition will take place at five emblematic venues in Luxembourg City: the municipal park Edouard André, the Pétrusse valley, the Alzette valley and the Kirchberg quarter, as well as in the town of Ettelbruck in Nordstad. Explore the city of tomorrow along various trails and enjoy a moment of relaxation amid colourful gardens, captivating agricultural landscapes and numerous leisure and meeting spaces.

For six months, this unique and mostly free exhibition will be an open-air laboratory of ideas, a platform for interaction and experimentation where visitors can all contribute to collective reflection on the future of our cities and take part in a programme packed with events on the LUGA Exhibition’s themes.

An extraordinary journey to making the invisible visible.

The LUGA Exhibition will take you on an extraordinary journey with the aim of Rendering the Invisible Visible, with 11 kilometres and 5 kilometer in the Nordstad of trails and adventures.

Discovering the invisible means exploring the unsuspected depths of the urban ecosystem. Through this fascinating theme, LUGA reveals the often little-known natural and historical riches that shape our cities: micro-organisms and ecological processes that are invisible to the naked eye but vital for the future, and the complex interactions between living beings and their environment.

Making the invisible visible also means lighting the way towards greener, more sustainable cities that are more respectful of our planet. Along the Exhibition trails, you will be encouraged to question your perceptions, explore new horizons, awaken your senses and imagine the future.
