LUGA trail information

Welcome to the LUGA trail 🌿

Intuitive signage, both digital and physical, has been put in place to guide you throughout your visit. It adapts to the desires and habits of each visitor: follow the markers on the ground, explore the information totems or scan the QR codes to enhance your online discovery.

And remember: A slightly faded flower? A totem slightly out of place? Every little unforeseen event is part of the charm of a living exhibition. Every day, we strive to improve the trail based on your feedback, so that we can offer you the best possible experience.

Follow the trail: look for green flowers

  • LUGA flowers are placed on the ground using environmentally-friendly temporary paint.
They allow you to intuitively follow the exhibition trail and complement the vertical signage.
They are refreshed regularly to ensure good visibility.
  • Green flowers can also be seen on the blue tourist signs in the City of Luxembourg. They enable visitors to find their way around the exhibition trail and identify the points of entry to the LUGA route in the urban space.
  • You will also find them on some traffic signs indicating the P+R (Park and Ride) facilities at the entrance to Luxembourg City. These car parks provide easy access to the various exhibition venues by free public transport

Good to know:

The P+R integrated into the mobility scheme and located in the direct vicinity of the LUGA route are listed on the interactive online map, to help you plan a smooth and accessible visit.

Information Totems – Understanding and exploring

Each ephemeral installation is accompanied by an information totem to enhance your visit.

What you will find:

  • The number of the facility (to help you find your way around on the interactive map or paper plan)
  • The title of the installation
  • Information about the designer(s)
  • Background information to learn more
  • A QR Code leading to a dedicated page on our website with enhanced content (photos, videos, interviews, etc.)

These totems are real landmarks that link the physical trail to the digital experience.

The LUGA living spaces – A place to talk, find information and relax

Throughout the trail, LUGA living spaces have been specially designed and set up at the various exhibition sites.

These welcoming spaces fulfil several functions:

  • They are places where visitors, residents and professionals can meet and chat, and take advantage of the wide-ranging LUGA programme (conferences, workshops, performances, exhibitions, etc.)
  • They are also information points where volunteers and members of the LUGA team are on hand to answer your questions.
  • Here you can pick up communication materials (maps, booklets, practical information), get personalised advice on how to make the most of your visit or simply take a break in a pleasant setting.

These locations are indicated on the interactive map and on the printed map.
