An inclusive meeting place in Parc Odendahl!
The LUGA Lab, located in the heart of the parc Odendahl in Pfaffenthal, will take its place beneath Grow Together Grow Green, an urban garden designed by Topotek 1. This open-air space will be characterized by its unusual architecture and is designed to be a place where visitors, residents, associations, civic initiatives and municipal figures can meet and exchange ideas. The central aim is to strengthen social ties, promote diversity, and foster intergenerational and intercultural exchanges.
The LUGA Lab aims to reduce social isolation by raising awareness of ecological issues in a positive and entertaining way. It will also showcase the work of professionals in the social sector through a rich and varied program. This space will thus become an open place where dialogue, mixity and living together are encouraged.
The program includes
- Workshops for all ages (gardening, DIY, upcycling, etc.)
- Activities and theme days
- Solidarity actions
- Participative workcamps open to all (garden maintenance, cooking, etc.)
- Drop-in centers (e.g. bicycle self-repair)
LUGA Lab is a project developed in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg and financed by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
The Œuvre is a public institution financed by the National Lottery, which identifies and fills unmet needs in our society. As a socially responsible player, it helps associations to carry out projects of public interest in the following fields: social, cultural, environmental, sports and health, remembrance and heritage.
