Les Jardins de la Fédération Horticole Luxembourgeoise

The gardens of the Luxembourg Horticultural Federation (FHL) offer a wonderful showcase of the expertise of companies and professionals in the Luxembourg horticultural sector through eight unusual gardens, designed by seven nursery-landscape companies and a market gardener as part of LUGA.

As an observer member of the LUGA exhibition , the FHL represents 448 small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in landscaping, nursery, fruit growing, market gardening and floral art as well as in professional and continuing training, as well as various themes of business law, thus contributing to the growth of this dynamic and innovative sector.

Gartenbau Leufgen

Gartenbau Leufgen is a young and dynamic team specializing in landscaping in the heart of the border triangle between Luxembourg, Belgium, and Germany. From design to maintenance and completion, they put their expertise to work creating tailor-made gardens.

The urban garden Barriere, meist stehst du dir selbst im Weg! invites us to reflect: is the real barrier what stands in front of us, or are we our own limits? This garden uses yew hedges to focus the eye on the center, with a semicircular barrier made of beams, mirrors displaying multilingual quotes, and a contrast between clinker paving and natural stone slabs.

Verda Landschaftsbau

Founded in 2005 by Goedert Gilles, the Luxembourg-based company Verda Landschaftsbau specializes in outdoor landscaping for individuals and businesses. Since its inception, they have expanded their expertise, ranging from garden design and maintenance to the creation of water features, including the layout of terraces and green roofs.

Under the direction of Gilles Goedert and with landscape architect Loris Bastin, they created the urban garden Voir et s’apercevoir . This innovative installation, which combines art and nature, incorporates mirrors arranged on a sage-colored metal structure to create a visual effect where passersby are reflected in the vegetation, offering an escape from urbanity through constantly changing reflections.

Gillen

Founded in 1978 in Tandel by Jules Gillen, the Gillen company began by offering trees, shrubs, and gardening services. Thanks to the quality of its plants and services, it gained notoriety and diversified its offerings: perennials, shrubs, and even garden plans designed by landscape architects. In 2023, his daughter Michèle took over the reins, managing a team of 50 people and demonstrating innovation with creations such as natural swimming pools.

Under the direction of Michèle Gillen, landscape architects Stefania Piperidou, Simon Draily and Norbert Drese created the urban garden Entre terre et ciel , which invites you to explore the hidden mysteries of nature by exposing the majestic roots of dead trees, symbols of life and connection with the earth, thus offering a reflection on hidden beauty and reconnection with the natural essence.

Paysages Wagener-Kox

Paysages Wagener-Kox combines several skills (nursery, garden maintenance, and landscape design) with a strong emphasis on its duty of social and ecological sustainability. For over forty years, it has been committed, with constant respect for the environment, to creating spaces and landscapes that reveal our true nature, atmospheres that delight us, as well as environments that merge with everyday life.

Philippe Wagener, gardener, organizer and partner, together with Laurence Croisat, landscape architect, created the urban garden Une Nature collective , a place of co-creation where the individual, through simple gestures, uses earth, water and light to support the balance of the ecosystem, recovering rainwater, capturing sunlight and enriching the soil with compost.

Netzwierk Agroökologie

Netzwierk Agroökologie is a group of different farmers and market gardeners who seek to work in a regenerative and resilient way.

The MILPA urban garden created by Netzwierk Agroökologie promotes small areas of cultivation, encouraging large-scale production for consumers, while strengthening social cohesion, respect for living things, and commitment to soil regeneration through biodiversity and customer/member support.

Mon Jardin

Mon Jardin est une entreprise familiale luxembourgeoise, fondée en 1976 et dirigée par la troisième génération de la famille. Avec une équipe de 25 experts, elle offre une gamme complète de services allant de l’aménagement des jardins et espaces extérieurs, à la création de toitures vertes, l’élagage professionnel, et l’entretien des plantations. Mon Jardin se distingue par son savoir-faire en matière de murs en pierre sèche, pavage, et irrigation automatique, tout en mettant l’accent sur la durabilité, la qualité et l’adaptation aux défis climatiques.

Avec leur jardin urbain Verdure en Trois Temps : Une Réponse au Climat de Demain, Mon Jardin propose une conception en trois niveaux : un tapis de sédum pour des jardins résistants et à faible entretien, un palier de sable optimisant l’eau et les racines, et un sommet avec une plante multitronc, incarnant une réponse écologique et durable aux enjeux climatiques.

Bamschoul Becker

Depuis 1980, la famille Becker s’occupe de plantes. D’un éleveur de roses privé en activité secondaire, l’entreprise s’est transformée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale en pépinière fruitière. Aujourd’hui, Bamschoul Becker, à Steinsel, propose un excellent programme pour le jardin : des plantes, des terres, des produits de soins ainsi que des articles décoratifs sont disponibles à la vente à la pépinière sur le plateau de Steesel. L’offre est complétée par le département de planification et les équipes d’exécution.

Le jardin urbain Bléihend Oase mat séissen Iwerraschungen, accessible par un arc en métal, combine roses parfumées, plantes comestibles, fruits à cueillir, un coin cosy, des matériaux locaux, un arbre noueux offrant de l’ombre, un éclairage romantique, du houblon grimpant pour l’intimité ainsi qu’un jardin surélevé en pierre naturelle pour un accès facile aux fruits.

Plantations Weisen

Depuis 1988, Plantations Weisen a évolué en s’appuyant sur l’expérience et les savoir-faire acquis au fil des années. Aujourd’hui, l’équipe se compose de deux chefs de chantier, un architecte paysagiste, un pépiniériste et pas moins de 28 paysagistes et aides-jardiniers, tous mobilisés quotidiennement pour concevoir et animer des espaces verts, leur insufflant vie et beauté.

Le jardin urbain Pergola bionique, véritable îlot de fraîcheur, émerveillement et partage, se distingue par une conception innovante autour d’une pergola ombrière végétalisée, permettant de se reconnecter au vivant, avec une structure réciproque en bois de châtaignier où chaque pièce soutient la suivante dans un équilibre harmonieux.
