Along the cycling path between Diekirch, Erpeldingen, Ettelbruck, and Schieren, an impressive intercommunal artistic project is taking shape as part of the Nordstad, in collaboration with artists Alice and David Bertizzolo, the municipalities of Nordstad, and the ANF.

At five selected sites in Nordstad, art, agriculture, and nature come together, inviting visitors to stop and appreciate the beauty of the artworks, nature, and the surrounding towns.

Under the theme “making the invisible visible,” these land art installations focus on the “journey of seeds” and feature large-scale representations of pollen, dandelions, barley, and oats. These artworks shimmer in the sunlight, offer benches for resting, or serve as light sources, highlighting hidden aspects of nature.

A particularly important aspect of this project is the sustainable choice of materials: wood from local forests, concrete blocks made from recycled materials, and bottles of Rosport water and Diekirch beer.

Don’t miss the chance to taste regional delicacies as part of the Nordstad “Wanderküche” project, which allows you to discover unique and secret locations while learning more about the “Liewensmëttelpunkt” strategy, which promotes regional and sustainable food.
