Island 2.0 Performance électronique
Vernissage
The Eddi van Tsui collective presents the sound behind the videos of Island 2.0. Pierrick Grobéty creates an immersive performance based on modular and computer systems. A time for listening and dialogue to question our relationship with the climate through the prism of sound.
What devices can be created to tell the story of a disappearing country?
As part of the Island 2.0 project, the Eddi van Tsui collective invites you to a session exploring the sound behind the installation.
Pierrick Grobéty has created an immersive sound environment based on research into urgency, traditional Tuvaluan music, and their natural soundscape. He investigated the artistic translation of these materials and the spatialization of sound.
During this sound performance, the musician and composer will revisit the creation of the soundtrack for the video, performed live using an original setup of modular and computer systems. He will reveal his low-tech, immersive production process.
A moment for listening and dialogue, inviting reflection on our relationship with the climate through the prism of sound.
