Garden Forum 2024

CELL invites you to its annual garden forum, to be held this year on Saturday November 30 in Luxembourg City!

A day of exchanges, meetings and workshops on gardening and pollinators, as part of the LUGA pre-program “Sowing in 2023, harvesting in 2025”.

Programme of the day

9:30am-10am: Welcome and coffee
10am-11am: Game – “Ouni pestiziden” campaign to learn about pesticides through a coordinated game by the EBL Ëmweltberodung Lëtzebuerg asbl
11am-12:30pm: Practical workshop on seeds and network structuring (community and private gardens) by Frank Adams of Réseau semences citoyennes
12:30-1:30 pm: Lunch of organic, local and vegetarian produce prepared by Mesa, la maison de la transition (free contribution)
1:30 pm-3 pm: Presentation of work on the biochar: questions and public interest in the soil issue – how to continue? by Gaëtan Fourvel of the Administration de l’environnement.
3pm-4pm: Presentation of the results of the 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘺𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳 research project on pollinators, in collaboration with the Musée national d’histoire naturelle Luxembourg – natur musée. Participants will leave with a small nesting box for wild bees.
4pm-5pm: Movie about the creation of the Sanem community garden, followed by a discussion.
