The International Garden Exhibition (IGA) will take place for the first time in North Rhine-Westphalia and in the Ruhr region from April 23 to October 17, 2027.
With its floral displays and thematic exhibitions in the Gardens of the Future located in Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, and Dortmund, the IGA will address the guiding question “How do we want to live tomorrow?”, creating spectacular new highlights for the Ruhr region.
As early as LUGA 2025, IGA partner ATECH will showcase innovative products that directly address the challenges faced by municipalities in the context of climate change. The aim is to provide a flexible and forward-thinking response to the question: “How can sealed urban spaces be sustainably greened and enhanced without compromising mobility and design, while ensuring efficient water usage?”
