Birds is an installation highlighting the common birdsongs in Luxembourg. It invites visitors to discover, recognize, and reconnect with the sounds of the increasingly rare wildlife that surrounds us.
By listening closely under these suspended sound showers, one can catch the songs of blackbirds, tits, or robins… A voice-over guides us through the experience, sharing essential information about these different animals. Blending discovery with memories of a time when birds were more present in urban areas, the sounds intertwine, and species respond to one another. Three trees, positioned along the fences of the Pescatore Foundation, house a special sound system. The ideal spot to enjoy the experience is marked on the ground.
