A Head Like a Garden is a series of artistic protocols that invite a mental and sensory drift through public space. These poetic phrases, engraved on metal plaques and scattered throughout the Pétrusse valley, awaken the imagination and raise awareness of the environment, working-class history, and the invisible energies around us.
Each protocol is accompanied by a garden in transformation, changing with the seasons, just like the thoughts it inspires. These gardens for the mind cultivate a state of awakening and continuous growth, offering a poetic and animist perspective on the world.
Through collective walks and performative actions, the project embraces an ecological and participatory approach, paying tribute to simple gestures and often overlooked manual trades. The protocols invite everyone to engage their imagination, let their thoughts wander, and bring them to life through ephemeral actions.
The work travels from mind to mind and can also be reactivated through a printed edition, which allows these poetic invitations to be disseminated elsewhere and revived anytime, anywhere.
