LUGA is in the spotlight in the latest episode of SWR’s Treffpunkt, titled Gartenschau 360°: Blumen, Freizeit & Visionen, now available in the ARD media library.
In the report, general coordinator Ann Muller highlights the unique character of the exhibition: unlike traditional garden shows, this one is free of charge, open to everyone, and located in the heart of Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck. Over a six-month period, it brings together urban gardens, artistic and landscape installations, agricultural projects, and community spaces, offering visitors direct and meaningful access to nature.
The episode also showcases the urban garden Grow Together Grow Green, designed by Berlin-based architecture firm Topotek 1. Visitors can pick up free seedlings as part of a participatory approach. The project supports the Luxembourg government’s goal of planting 30,000 trees by 2030.
A vibrant showcase for LUGA — combining ecological commitment, creativity, and civic engagement.
