This weekend, LUGA took part in the 30th International Comics Festival in Contern. This major event brought together 50 international authors, including 10 from Luxembourg, offering a rich array of talents to discover.
The festival, which over the years has become a must-see event for comic book fans, celebrated not only traditional works, but also manga and graphic novels, appealing to a varied audience of all ages and backgrounds. Special attention was also paid to the Luxembourg scene, highlighting local creativity.
With a view to the 31st edition of the festival in 2025, a special LUGA 2025 poster has been commissioned from the artist Nora Moretti. The poster highlights gardens, nature and Luxembourg’s heritage, the central themes of the future LUGA exhibition. The artist has captured the essence of the Grand Duchy, integrating natural and cultural elements into a captivating visual composition.
We would like to thank Nora Moretti and the Contern International Comics Festival for this magnificent poster, and look forward to welcoming you at next year’s festival.
