LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden: an exhibition running until October 18, 2025, in Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck
Until October 18, 2025, LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden is transforming Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck into a vast laboratory of discovery. This temporary open-air exhibition invites residents and visitors to explore the city in a different way, through a unique walk connecting five iconic sites: the Alzette Valley, Édouard André Municipal Park, the Pétrusse Valley, Kirchberg, and the city of Ettelbruck in Nordstad.

With urban gardens, landscape and art installations, agricultural projects, and living spaces, LUGA offers a sensory and poetic immersion into the heart of the urban ecosystem. Each installation invites visitors to look up, slow down and rediscover the city from a new angle. Colorful, lively and largely accessible free of charge, the exhibition stretches over 11 km in Luxembourg City and 4 km in Ettelbruck. Visitors can stroll at their own pace, enjoying moments of relaxation, artistic surprises and unexpected encounters.

An open-air laboratory of ideas
Beyond the promenade, LUGA aims to be a true open-air laboratory of ideas. For six months, the exhibition becomes a place for experimentation and dialogue where residents, visitors, artists, landscape architects, and scientists come together to reflect on the future of cities. This collective reflection is accompanied by a rich and varied program of events, including conferences, creative workshops, educational hikes, sports activities, fun events, and gardening sessions. These are all opportunities to learn and share experiences in a friendly and participatory atmosphere.

Making the invisible visible
The theme of the LUGA exhibition, Making the invisible visible, invites visitors to discover the often overlooked aspects of the urban ecosystem that are essential to city life and to delve into the history of heritage.
