Solidarity Saturdays | August

Every month, “Samedis Solidaires” invites you to discover inspiring initiatives centered around solidarity, creativity, and community living.

Meet associations and committed organizations, take part in interactive workshops, exchange ideas, create… and enjoy the friendly energy of this open day for everyone.

Stands, activities, discoveries – a rich and diverse program awaits you! Explore projects led by local actors engaged in inclusion, environment, education, culture… and much more.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get informed, explore ways to get involved, or simply have a good time!

💭 PhiloFolie by Kinima asbl (14:00 – 15:30)
Join an open philosophical discussion on the topic of living together, in a friendly atmosphere (in French and/or English).

🧠 “Citizenship and Civic Engagement” stand by WeCitizens asbl (14:00 – 18:00)
Activities, discussions, and insights on civic engagement projects.

🏙️ Urban sports activities by the National Youth Service (14:00 – 18:00)
Urban sports sessions for fun, movement, and making new friends.

📍 Information stand by the Youth Service of the City of Luxembourg (14:00 – 18:00)

🎨 Silkscreen printing by ATP asbl (14:00 – 18:00)
Try silkscreen printing and create your own postcard to take home!

👟 Sports activities and games by Noël de la Rue asbl (14:00 – 18:00)
Move, play, share… for young and old alike!

🔧 Mini repair booth by Repair Café (14:00 – 17:00)
Something broken? Bring your small items and volunteers will help fix them – while teaching you how to repair them yourself.

💃 Lindy Hop dance workshop by Jazzbreak asbl (16:00 – 17:00)
Curious about dancing? Come discover Lindy Hop and Jazz in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.

🛠️ DIY “Paper Insects” workshop by Share & Create (14:00 – 18:00)
Create textured paper insect artworks using mixed techniques and materials.

🎁 Solidarity Clothes Swap with the support of Fashion Revolution Luxembourg and the National Collection and Sorting Centre
(14:00 – 18:00) 

Give your clothes a second life! Bring garments in good condition to swap on-site or drop them in the collection boxes. Donations will be distributed to organizations supporting people in need. More infos here.

🎶 Live music – Itinerantes Jam Session by Itinerantes asbl (17:30 – 18:30)
Improvised and open performances – bring your instrument and join in!
