PNEUMOPTERIA: Polyperformative Invocation Ceremony
A performance organised around Roland Boden's installation Pavillon der Himmlischen Verheißung, presented as part of the LUGA Art Trail: Animals of the Mind.
Today, many scientists note a drastic reduction in the population of pneumopteria. Yet supporters of the assimilation theory argue that the number of pneumopteria has not decreased significantly. According to them, they escape direct observation and interaction by means of devisibilisation.
This synchronised group ceremony in the tradition of the polyperformative synchronicity theory aims to create a bioenergetic force field that should enable the short-term visibilisation of potentially existing pneumopteria. The positive feedback effects furthermore result in a lasting positive mental boost in all individuals within the force field.
