D’Maus Kätti, Auguste LieschD’Maus Kätti sëtzt bei hirem Lachzu Biermereng am Feld;„Wéi schéin, denkt se, ass d’Liewen dach,wéi gutt ass `t op der Welt.

“Who doesn’t know them, those opening lines from Auguste Liesch’s beloved “Maus Kätti,” about Cousin Mim from Clausen and dear Metti?

Published in 1936, this first work by the author quickly became a true Luxembourgish classic for young and old. With great sensitivity, Auguste Liesch managed to place Aesop’s famous fable of the country mouse and the town mouse in a Luxembourgish context.

Through musical puppet and object theatre, Annick Sinner and Nadine Kauffmann explore Auguste Liesch’s work and its central theme—“What truly brings me joy deep inside, and where do I belong?”—in their own unique and original way.

Aimed at audiences aged 6 and up, the show is in Luxembourgish and lasts about 35 minutes.
