My name is Nora Zrika. I was born and raised in Luxembourg. My mother is Luxembourgish-French, a non-practising Catholic. My father is Moroccan Arab Berber, a non-practising Muslim. I am Luxembourgish, French, Moroccan, Arab, Berber, a non-practising Muslim. In Luxembourg, when you eat a chicken leg, you put the bone on the edge of your plate. In Morocco, when you eat chicken with olives, you don’t put the leftovers on your plate. Chicken Bone Dilemma is a performance that invites anyone who wishes to share an anecdote related to the issue of multiple identities, being mixed-race and immigration.
