Carolina Jason Jazz Duo

Carolina & Jason began performing together in Spring 2023, united by a shared love of jazz and live performance. As a duo, they craft a warm, intimate atmosphere by blending traditional jazz, blues, and bossa nova with a modern edge. Their setlist combines classic standards with fresh, contemporary arrangements that showcase their unique sound and improvisational flair.

Carolina Marcelino (vocals) brings a rich, soulful voice and a versatile musical background—from classical piano training to jazz vocal workshops with top Portuguese artists. She adds a fresh, modern touch to timeless jazz classics.

Jason Kavanagh (guitar) is an accomplished jazz guitarist with years of experience performing in ensembles across the UK and Europe. Now based in Luxembourg, he also teaches guitar. His nuanced playing and deep grasp of jazz harmony perfectly complement Carolina’s vocals, creating a compelling and memorable performance.
