BIRDS

BIRDS is an educational installation that highlights the songs of common birds in Luxembourg. It invites visitors to discover, recognize, and reconnect with the sounds of the increasingly rare wildlife around us.By listening closely under these suspended sound showers, one can catch the songs of blackbirds, tits, or robins… A voice-over guides the experience, sharing crucial information about these different flying animals. Blending discovery with memories of a time when birds were more present in urban areas, the sounds intertwine, and species respond to one another.

Three trees, positioned along the fence of the Pescatore Foundation, house a unique sound system. The ideal spot to enjoy the experience is marked on the ground.
