The Luxembourg
Commission for UNESCO is pleased to participate in LUGA’s celebration of
nature. This summer, “Les Rendez-vous de l’UNESCO” a series of conferences, presents
the UNESCO programmes that encourage us to make peace with nature.
“Education for sustainable development: learning to take
action to improve the world of tomorrow in a sustainable way”Speakers : Marie Paule Kremer (MECDD), Jessica Wilmes und Mélanie Troian (MENEJ)Through Education for sustainable development, young people learn about the world in all
its facets, acquire the values and skills necessary to respect nature and the
environment, and contribute to shaping a sustainable society. What is currently
happening in Luxembourg in this area? Who are the main players? What is the
