More and more people in cities are discovering gardening for themselves. Even the smallest areas can become oases of calm and relaxation. With their lush plant life, gardens become meeting places for both humans and animals.
It’s truly fascinating how quickly wildlife settles in a garden – if only it’s given a little encouragement!

Let this multimedia show take you into the world of shapes and colors of a garden and its animal residents. Enjoy this feast for the senses – while learning in a humorous and engaging way how gardens can make a significant contribution to biodiversity.

In short: a talk to lean back, enjoy, and be amazed!

Speakers: Karin and Roland Günter

Karin Günter is a biologist with a focus on animal ecology. Roland Günter is a nature photographer and author of numerous photo reports that reveal how biodiversity works and why it’s so fascinating. He specifically explores and photographs interactions between animals and their environments. Using nearly every professional technique in modern photography, he uncovers the often hidden treasures of biodiversity. He firmly believes that “photos and stories must also touch people emotionally.”
