Wildlife-Urban Life Portrait Art Lab
Spot, Sketch & Share With Gaialux
Join a creative art workshop 'Wild-Urban Life Portrait Art Lab', launched by the IDEE en Action team on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. Together, let’s keep the focus on these essential goals reimagining our urban spaces through a renewed connection with Nature.
The ‘Wild-Urban Life Portrait Art Lab’ is an invitation to rediscover the role of art as a bridge between personal creativity and our shared environments. Through artistic expression, participants are encouraged not only to celebrate the beauty of wildlife, but also to rebuild meaningful connections with their urban surroundings and living spaces.
Art becomes a way of observing, interpreting, and reimagining our urban spaces—representing them both in their harmonious aspects and in their tensions and contrasts. The urban landscape itself is part of a living and evolving ecosystem, and as such it can become a source of new balances and possibilities. At the same time, art can raise awareness of the imbalances and tipping points we face, opening up new imaginaries that inspire more sustainable collective pathways.
The workshop nurtures the awareness that climate action begins close to home: in the ways we relate to our cities, our communities, and the ecosystems that sustain us. Every portrait, every postcard, is both a creative gesture and a call to care for the spaces we live in—a reminder that protecting the planet also means cultivating a more sustainable and harmonious relationship with the environments we shape every day.Your postcards will become part of the I.D.E.E. exhibition touring to raise awareness of the SDGs, inspire young participants in the IDEE en Action school program across Luxembourg, and serve as a creative tool for climate action initiatives on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement and the launch of Agenda 2030.
