“The In Between” is a powerful 20-minute dance-theater duo exploring identity, inner conflict, and emotional transformation.

Blending house and contemporary dance, the piece navigates the tension between personal desires and societal expectations. Through shifting movement dynamics—soft, explosive, and uplifting—it captures the emotional rollercoaster of self-discovery.

Premiered in April 2024 at Trois C-L, Maison de la danse (Luxembourg) as part of the Emergence program. Choreographed and performed by Norah Noush assisted by Nora Hertwig, this work invites audiences into a deeply human, universal journey.
