Using wooden sticks, glue and simple natural materials, you can build your own ‘feathered hut’. This workshop stimulates curiosity, fine motor skills and imagination, while introducing the very basics of architecture and DIY.
Come and play architect and build your first little hut! Plommenkëscht (Luxembourgish for ‘feather box’) is a creative discovery workshop offered as part of the exhibition ‘Living Thresholds: Towards Cohabitation in Architectural Design’. Specially designed for children aged 5 to 9, this workshop invites youngsters to learn about architecture and construction. Come and learn more about cohabitation, nature and bird habitats through an artistic and sensitive activity: building a small wooden birdhouse, light as a feather, which you can use to feed the birds in your garden.Using wooden sticks, glue and simple natural materials, you can build your own ‘feathered hut’. This workshop stimulates curiosity, fine motor skills and imagination, while introducing the very basics of architecture and DIY.
