Les Passerelles
Festival littéraire itinérant
On October 15th two free and intergenerational events will take place in Grevenmacher, in the form of a scientific and participative walk on the banks of the Moselle and a public reading, on the houseboat "Baraka" moored at the docks.
The Caranusca association, centre for literary creation, aims to carry out cultural and multidisciplinary actions, for all. She organizes the project “Les Passerelles”, a literary navigation mixing creative residencies and literary programming in the Grand Est region and abroad (Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany). The next chapter of the festival will take place from 17/09 to 21/10/25 on the rivers Moselle and Saar, with a stopover in Grevenmacher on October 15 where it will be proposed literary and scientific activities around the theme of the LUGA “Making visible the invisible”.
DISCOVERING SPIDERS
Join spider specialist Christine Rollard for a meeting and observation walk. Spiders often suffer from a bad reputation and are victims of many misconceptions about their appearance, potential danger, and way of life… Yet, the diversity of these arachnids is remarkable, and their role as predators is essential to the balance of nature. So why not follow the silky threads and see them in a new light, sweeping away the false clichés during this observation walk with one of the world’s leading arachnologists?
On October 15th, in Grevenmacher, a free, public, and intergenerational event will be organized in the form of a scientific, visual, and sound walk along the banks of the Moselle, followed by a small conference on board the “Baraka” barge moored at the quay.
Meeting point: in front of the BARAKA barge, behind the Grevenmacher swimming pool.
