Institutional Partners on trail: Conference – Ethiopia’s green treasures
Odile Weber will be speaking about the beauty of Ethiopia's plants, both wild and cultivated, and their importance to the future of urban life.
This talk is organised in collaboration with the NGO ‘Regards d’Enfants d’Ethiopie’ to mark the centenary of the diplomatic visit of Ras Teferi Mekonnen to Luxembourg. Ras Teferi Mekonnen, later known as Haile Selassie I, was Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974, a period of big political upheaval and change in Ethiopia and internationally. I’ll be speaking about the beauty of Ethiopia’s plants, both wild and cultivated, and their importance to the future of urban life.
