Exposition : L’OMBILIC DE L’ONDE
Portuguese painter Pedro Amaral, in residency at Canopée, collaborates with writer-director and painter François Baldassare. Inspired by the theme of the SOURCE, they explore the link between city and nature through an exhibition and public workshops in Pfaffenthal.
Pedro Amaral, a painter from Portugal, will exhibit his creations at the Science Hub following his artist residency within Canopée Asbl. in Pfaffenthal. For this residency, he invited the artistic collaboration of François Baldassare, a scriptwriter-director and passionate painter. Between August and September, the two artists will be immersed in an environment where the urban meets nature, surrounded by Canopée’s vegetable garden, located in the heart of this picturesque neighborhood. The theme of the SOURCE, whether referring to water or creativity, inspires them to explore the connections between the natural cycle and the city. Within this framework, they find an endless source of patterns and colors that nourish their art while highlighting the beauty of harmony between the earth and urbanity. Pedro Amaral will share his inspiration through several participatory workshops with the public, as part of the Arts & Garden project.
