The “Mir begréngen eis Fassaden” campaign is encouraging residents to plant their facades to create a more pleasant living environment and a greener city. This year, interactive workshops will guide you through the essential steps for planting and maintaining climbing plants. Join us in the municipalities of Luxembourg City, Esch/Alzette, Sanem, and Dudelange!

🌱 A project supported by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte under the initiative “ReNature – Restoring Biodiversity,” launched in 2024. This program enables citizens to play an active role in preserving biodiversity and improving the urban microclimate, which is crucial in addressing the challenges of climate change.

Practical workshops to learn and take action

During these sessions, you will receive personalized advice on planting, maintaining, and fixing climbing plants. A gardener or environmental advisor from SICONA, a metal constructor, and an ecological construction expert from Oekozenter Pafendall will guide you step by step to successfully green your façade.
