On Tuesday 21 January 2025, LUGA was featured in RTL Magazin broadcast by RTL Lëtzebuerg. During the report, Ann Muller, LUGA’s general coordinator, presented the open-air exhibition of urban gardens, landscape and art installations, agricultural projects and living spaces, which will take place in Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck from 7 May to 18 October 2025.
Referring to the progressive development of gardens in the report, Ann Muller cited the example of Triptyque, one of the ten international gardens in the Alzette valley. This project uses prefabricated concrete slabs from recycled materials, followed by the installation of wooden terraces on top, which will form the garden’s primary paths, while wood chips will form secondary paths.
Jérôme Komljanec, sitemanager at Vereal Jardin & Forêt, also took the floor to explain their approach to garden design. He explained that their work incorporates both plants and mineral materials such as Luxembourg sandstone, as well as local resources such as steel, while avoiding the use of invasive plants.
The exhibition will focus on the theme of ‘Making the invisible visible’, revealing a historical and natural heritage that is often overlooked. It will also integrate the town of Ettelbruck, offering an immersive and unique experience through innovative projects and reimagined living spaces to enhance the diversity and cultural identity of the Nordstad region, renowned for its rich agricultural heritage.
