La durabilité à l'ère du numérique
This conference allows us to explore the effects of digital technology on the environment, impacts that are often invisible but very real. We will discuss solutions that enable everyone to take action, in particular by extending the lifespan of devices and optimising their end of life.
This conference invites you to explore the effects of digital technology on our planet, highlighting impacts that are often invisible but nonetheless very real. We will analyse how the growing use of digital technologies influences the environment, particularly through energy consumption, the production of electronic waste and the extraction of natural resources.
We will also discuss concrete solutions that are accessible to everyone to reduce our environmental footprint. Among these, extending the life of electronic devices by promoting repair, reconditioning and recycling will be highlighted as an essential approach. Optimising the end of life of devices will also be a focus, in order to address ways of limiting pollution and recovering valuable materials.
This conference aims to raise awareness of the importance of adopting more responsible behaviour in the face of exponential digital growth, while proposing concrete courses of action for a more responsible digital future.
