While xenophobia and extremism are once again the order of the day in Europe, little Luxembourg, with its 50 percent foreign population, is a prime example of resistance to xenophobia. After all, Luxembourg has always welcomed various immigrant groups with open arms since the industrial revolution – hasn’t it?

In “Bouneschlupp”, two young actresses and musicians do away with common clichés, confront the structural racism in their own family histories and find the perfect remedy against xenophobia: to finally listen properly to the foreigners who have found refuge in our country.
