Since the beginning of his career, photographer Andrés Lejona (1962, Spain) has developed a body of work focused on evolving landscapes and the interactions between humans and their environment.

Through a selection of sixteen photographs from a new production, the exhibition Nature and Infrastructures highlights efforts to protect nature in the face of the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and multiple undeniable environmental pressures today.

The exhibition invites visitors to discover little-known infrastructures that play a crucial role in the protection, conservation, and restoration of biodiversity in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Using medium and large format cameras, as well as drone technology, Andrés Lejona captures highly detailed images. The photographs featured in this exhibition offer a new perspective on often inaccessible infrastructures, revealing unexpected landscapes and ingenious solutions for coexistence, such as wildlife overpasses.

The traveling exhibition Nature and Infrastructures is part of the awareness-raising program from the National Nature Protection Plan (PNPN3) of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate, and Biodiversity, implemented through the joint efforts of the Nature and Forest Agency, the Water Management Agency, and the Environmental Agency.
