Kiosques limonadiers au parc

Already during the time of the fortress, there was a pavilion in the Generolsgaart that served as a place of relaxation — situated within a promenade that was seasonally open to the public. Following the redesign of the park along the former front of the plain, two concessions for lemonade kiosks were approved.

Villa Amberg and Villa Louvigny, each with their own event halls, opened their doors and quickly became popular meeting places in the city. They hosted concert evenings, variety shows, agricultural, horticultural, and animal exhibitions, sports championships, and political gatherings.
