Schengen is more than just Europe!
During this guided tour, you will not only discover the European significance of the internationally renowned village,
but also learn more about Luxembourg’s largest wine-growing municipality, which is famous for its Pinot.
On 14 June 1985, the Schengen Agreement was signed, laying the foundations for a Europe of open borders.
Today, the small wine growing village in the border triangle of Germany, France, and Luxembourg is synonymous with a borderless Europe.
A trained guide will lead you through Schengen and explain the development and significance of the Schengen Agreement as well as the regional (wine) culture.
After a short walk through the vineyards, you will reach the Markusberg with the St Mark’s Tower visible from afar,
which offers a marvellous view of the border triangle over a glass of wine or grape juice.
The price also includes free admission to the refurbished museum.
