This class, inspired by traditional dances from West Africa, offers a dynamic and progressive learning experience through across-the-floor exercises and the creation of a collective choreography.

What to expect in this class:
Step-by-step learning of traditional West African dances
Rhythmic exploration through movement sequences and travel steps
Live musical accompaniment (djembe, dundun, balafon) or recorded music
A blend of influences, including the Acogny Technique (École des Sables – Senegal) and both traditional and urban West African dance styles
Adaptability to suit the group’s age, level, and expectations
Indoor or outdoor practice, depending on the conditions and needs

Who is it for?
This class is open to everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced dancers, thanks to a teaching approach tailored to the participants’ level and background.
