In this workshop, participants will learn about the ecological impacts of invasive exotic plants and presents native alternatives that are respectful of pollinating insects. Attendees will get to know how to prevent the spread of invasive plants, even if not all invasive species can be removed or eliminated from the garden.
In addition, the correct handling of contaminated green waste will be explained. The workshop provides guidance on alternative garden design and present the new guide ‘Invasive Neophyten und ihre Alternativen für Gärten und Anlagen’ (Invasive Neophytes and their Alternatives for Gardens and Landscapes).
