On 15 June 2025, the Roman villa in Echternach will be hosting a market as part of the LUGA festival. Local producers will be on hand, as will the three winegrowers who have their vineyards on the Sûre: Georges Schiltz, René Krippes and Luc Roeder. Visitors will be able to buy the Mediterranean plants grown in the Roman garden and sold by horticulturist Millenoecht, as well as roses by Patrimoine Roses pour le
Luxembourg ASBL.
The École du Goût, an interdisciplinary project in the field of food and consumer education, will be organising activities for all ages throughout the market. Everything will revolve around food and our five senses during workshops with wood-fired cooking. And there’s something for the little ones too, with storytelling sessions throughout the day.
