Visite du Naturgaart Kiemert

During LUGA, you can take your time to discover the Kiemert Nature Garden. Garden areas, flower meadows, insects, fruit trees and the occasional sheep will guide your exploration. If you’re lucky, you might even meet one of the gardeners.

This garden was initiated by the town of Hesperange and developed by the Environment and Climate Committee with the help of Mrs Katy Fox. The CIGL Hesperange is responsible for the operational aspects. A support committee has been set up to ensure regular dialogue. This committee is chaired by Mr Guy Wester, alderman of Hesperange, with Mr Kris Kayser of CIGL as secretary, Mr Robert Leven, chairman of the Environment and Climate Committee, and a representative of the SIAS syndicate and the gardeners.

How to reach the Naturgaart Kiemert?

• on foot or by bike,
• by bus: use the bus stop “Itzig, am Kiemert”,
• by car: please use the parking space along the cemetery between Hesperange ( rue d’Itzig) and Itzig ( rue de Hesperange), walking distance – 500 m, no direct car access to the garden!
• 1 allocated parking space PMR near the garden.
