Enlighted Gardens is a light installation in the heart of nature, exploring our vital link with light via light diffraction and illuminating at the start of twilight, visible from the Gëlle Fra.
Enlighted Gardens explores our vital link with the sun through the play of shadows and the reflection of light, highlighting the verticality of the site, the cliff face, and the difference in level of the site and the existing trees. It is an extension of the view that visitors can see from the upper town, expressed in different ways during the day and at nightfall. During the day, vertical reflective elements are hung from the trees, to appreciate the diffraction of light. The night garden comes about at the start of the blue hour and will be visible from the Gëlle Fra landmark. Luminous lines inspired by the existing flora (lianas and trees) take over and glow like a painting, reacting to all forces, whether our own or that of the wind.
